Michael Russell MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Education and Lifelong Learning, will be at the MacDonald Holyrood Hotel in Edinburgh on Wednesday, February 22, at 12.45 PM, to launch CDX: Hydraulics and Fluid Power, an innovative online course developed in partnership with Barony College and CDX Automotive.
Barony College, a small, specialist rural land-based college in South West Scotland has entered a partnership to develop a cutting-edge online hydraulics training program with CDX Automotive, the world’s leading provider of interactive training solutions for automotive education. This new training program, CDX: Hydraulics and Fluid Power, will combine Barony College’s subject expertise with CDX’s proven learning tools to meet a growing worldwide demand for hydraulics training.
CDX: Hydraulics and Fluid Power includes coverage of the central concepts of hydraulic systems and service level tasks required of fluid power mechanics across the world. This innovative online course features a wealth of videos and animations to simplify complex subject matter for working technicians and apprentices throughout a range of industries, including offshore oil platforms, mining, aerospace, marine exploration, agriculture, construction, and forestry.
Representatives from Barony College and CDX Automotive will join Michael Russell MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Education and Lifelong Learning on Wednesday 22nd February to launch CDX: Hydraulics and Fluid Power. The launch will take at 12:45 PM at the MacDonald Holyrood Hotel in Edinburgh. Refreshments will be served from 12:00 -12:30 PM.
